The Orion vs Athena Water Ionizer Comparison

ATHENA & ORION WATER IONIZERS
I just finished testing and comparing the Jupiter Orion water ionizer against my own water ionizer, the Athena water ionizer. Both water ionizers are made by the same manufacturer, Jupiter water ionizers, but they have a $300. difference in price. I always assumed that the Athena was the best, so I guess I skipped right over the Orion water ionizer and its fraternal twin, the Aquarius water ionizer [the Orion and Aquarius water ionizers are exactly the same on the inside, but look different on the outside], in doing all my comparing and analyzing of water ionizers.
The bottom line is the Orion water ionizer tests equal to the Athena water ionizer!
The following two videos and charts show the testing and comparing of water ionizers that I did. I was very impressed with the Orion in appearance and performance. It’s a great selection for anyone looking for the best performing water ionizers.
Comparing Athena and Orion Water Ionizers
Water Ionizer –> |
Athena |
Orion |
Level 1… pH/ORP |
9.6/-182 |
8.1/-154 |
Level 2… pH/ORP |
10.4/-630 |
10.5/-450 |
Level 3… pH/ORP Level 3 Acid |
10.8/-805 2.9 |
10.9/-770 3.1 |
Level 4… pH/ORP Level 4 Acid |
11.2/-813 2.7 |
11.2/-810 2.8 |
According to the results of the testing, there is very little variation in pH and ORP from one ionizer to the other. This is exactly as I had predicted, because they are virtually the same water ionizer except for the flow control knob and the extra filter in the Athena water ionizer.
Both the Athena and Orion water ionizers are also fantastic in their internal cleaning of the plates. Everything is done behind the scenes with their patented DARC cleaning system, making these water ionizers the easiest water ionizers to use. The Jupiter water ionizer company did a great job with the design and aesthetics of these two great water ionizers.
